Yes, it's true! We are squeezing in another event before Elections, and we are super happy to be bringing you a peer-given talk by undergraduate Physics student Christopher Mills! This one is on Tuesday April 7th (the day before Elections), at 5:00 PM in PSE 317. His talk will outline the geophysical principles underlying the Induced Polarization surveying technique and his work experiences applying this technique in remote field locations in the Yukon Territory. A brief summary of the Very Low Frequency surveying technique as well as the importance of this method to the mining exploration industry will also be presented. Come out for an opportunity to hear about your fellow student's work and research in the field, have some delish food (2 days in a row?!), and hang with the Physics Society crowd! *If you are also interested in giving a talk on your experiences and research, contact the Physics Society (contact info in page description) for more information! See all you cool cats there!
